Hi there, It's not that all the roads are broken between JZG and Chengdu, just that it's a very long diversion to go by road. I'm pretty sure that the road is open from JZG to Langmu Si but not for foreigners at the moment. There (thankfully) doesn't appear to be any actual unrest in Sichuan but roads are still closed "for our safety." Hopefully after the Olympics there will be less concerns about this! There are checks on locals as well, but foreigners seem to have much greater trouble getting through. You definitely CAN'T get to Danba at the moment as a foreigner. Cheers, Matt
