Eben is from the UK and has aways been involved in outdoor sports and activities. He looks upon his time in the outdoors as a way of life; more than just as a hobby or a job. Some of his the more noteworthy adventures include: 

• Trips in China building new sport climbs - Guangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong
• Trips in Italy rock climbing 
• Ice climbing trips in Scotland and Italy
• A trip to the Pyrenees kayaking 
• An expedition to the Indian Himalaya mountaineering.

Eben started his outdoor career working on the West cost of Wales. He has completed a range of UK national governing body awards.

Land sports:

• UK Mountain Leader
• Signal pitch Leader and MIA training. 

Water sports: 

• A level 3 kayak coach certificate
• Level 2 Canoe
• 5 star training in both. 
• Power boat driver
