Eben Just back from a Sichuan Trek in Chan Ping Valley

I have just got back from a very short but good trip in Chan Ping Valley, Siguniang Shan, Sichuan Province. This short and easy trek takes us along Chan Ping Valley. The clouds were thick on the pass as we climbed up from Chengdu on our drive to Rilong. On crossing the high pass at over 4000 M the clouds cleared and patches of sunlight illuminated the well photographed Siguniang national park with the 4th sister towering over the land. We arrived in Rilong where we spent the night. The following day we started our trek through the forest and up to our camp. Over night it snowed and we woke up to a wight world and speckled sunlight shining through the clouds. This day was spent photographing everything as the light was grate.....
