August 5, 2008 Hi! Thanks for this news and travel update page. I live and work in Leshan. I am getting lots of mixed reports. I will be flying to Jiuzhaigou as I was told all of the roads are "broken" between Chengdu and JJG. Also does anyone know if the roads are open from JJG to Langmusi? Is the problem with "broken roads" as I have been told or is it unrest? May we travel to Danba? I am a foreigner. Are these restrictins only to foreigners or also to locals?
